Third Space is pleased to announce our next Bible Land tour to Egypt in January of 2027. Visit the land of Moses' birth and call and the sojourn of the holy family in their flight to Egypt. Join us for a Christian journey of a lifetime.

Jingjiao: the Earliest Christian Church in China

In honor of AAPI Heritage month this past May, Third Space sponsored a Spring Lecture  featuring Milton's good friend and colleague, Dr. Glen Thompson. He recently published an important book on the earliest Christian church in China. 

Many people assume that the first introduction of Christianity to the Chinese was part of nineteenth-century Western imperialism. In fact, Syriac-speaking Christians brought the gospel along the Silk Road into China in the seventh century during the Tang Dynasty. Glen L. Thompson introduces readers to the fascinating history of this early Eastern church, referred to as Jingjiao, or the “Luminous Teaching.”
