Due to a lack of registrations for my original 9-day tour for Jan. 2, 2027, I have cancelled that tour and switched to a standard EO tour for Jan. 26, 2027 of 11 days. It is actually $100 less and a better value. New info below:

Fall Lecture:
Christians and Politics

Ever wonder what is your role as a Christian in today’s politics? Some avoid it completely, others make it a doctrine of  faith. Third Space Asian America is pleased to sponsor a Fall Lecture “Christians and Politics” to answer this question. The lecture will be held in-person in Livingston, NJ on Saturday, Sept. 26th ahead of the midterm elections in November.

The speaker will be Dr. Kellen Funk, Professor of Law at Columbia University and elder at Stone Hill Church in Princeton, NJ. Stay tuned here or sign-up for our email newsletter for forthcoming details.

Jingjiao: the Earliest Christian Church in China

In honor of AAPI Heritage month this past May, Third Space sponsored a Spring Lecture  featuring Milton's good friend and colleague, Dr. Glen Thompson. He recently published an important book on the earliest Christian church in China. 

Many people assume that the first introduction of Christianity to the Chinese was part of nineteenth-century Western imperialism. In fact, Syriac-speaking Christians brought the gospel along the Silk Road into China in the seventh century during the Tang Dynasty. Glen L. Thompson introduces readers to the fascinating history of this early Eastern church, referred to as Jingjiao, or the “Luminous Teaching.”
