Footsteps of Paul in Greece and Turkiye: a wonderful trip
After one year of planning, Milton hosted a tour of Greece and Turkiye in the Footsteps of Apostle Paul, May 5-17, 2025. It was a great trip and we saw many, many places but as a land tour we did do quite a bit of packing and unpacking on the way. But overall, it was great. We want to go back! Weather, food, hotels, sites and people were all good. We even had time for some fun like shopping at the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul and a hot air balloon ride in Pamukkale.
Welcome to Third Space tours. Our next trip is planned for 2027, the Footsteps of Moses, Mary and Joseph in Egypt. If you or your church would be interested in a tour, any tour, let me know! 2022 & 2023 Past Events
Far East Deep South Screening A Success
On May 5th, Sunday afternoon, we had a successful film screening of Far East Deep South with Q&A with the producer Baldwin Chiu whose family the documentary is all about. More than fifty people attended some coming from as far as Queens, NY to our Livingston Senior/Community Center. The film was shown for the first hour and fifteen minutes and a lively Q&A with Baldwin followed. A good time was had by all making new friends, meeting old ones and learning that Asian American history is American history. Special thanks to our event team: Grace and KaWing, Alan and photographer John.
Third Space Israel Tour 2023
Long in the planning, we finally made it to Israel in January 2023. Sixteen of us traveled to the land of Jesus' birth, life, death, burial and resurrection. From Jan. 7 to 15 we spent time in Israel and Jan. 15-18 in Jordan for an optional extension to Petra. This was my second time in Israel and it still amazes me. If you are interested in going, I'm planning another trip in about five years. Save the date!
Although there were some hiccups like my catching Covid two days prior to departure, I was able to join the group after three days and help host the tour for two-thirds of the time. It was still a wonderful experience. God provided good weather even during rainy season, no crowds and several excellent tour guides. Our small group bonded in a very special way as well. I took over 1000 photos and videos so stay tuned here for more to come. It was indeed the trip of a lifetime. |
